In 1992, the Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Engineering ISST opened its site in the Dortmund Technology Park, right next to the TechnologieZentrumDortmund and the University of Dortmund. With its focus on information logistics, the institute made a key contribution to optimising internal communication processes and structures in companies.
Today - 30 years later - Fraunhofer ISST is at home as a beacon in the Dortmund digital quarter. From there, the institute develops data room technologies for sovereign data exchange and designs pioneering data ecosystems together with partners.
